– I met him one day at Stockholms Cinematek. He seemed to be in a hurry and when I asked him if I could take a photo he said that he had no time and was just rushing away. But when I stopped him yelling that he was one of those two persons who awakened my interest in Sweden he turned and asked me who the other guy was. I answered that he was the famous Swedish architect Gunnar ASPLUND but unfortunately he is deceased and couldn’t join us by that time. With a smile on his face he stayed and I could take this beautifully humble portrait of this icon…
